Be 'Prepared' when a random attack occurs!

This weekend in the UK, the city of Birmingham was terrorized by a series of stabbings that took place during the early hours of Sunday morning, around numerous locations. A total of eight people sustained injuries, and sadly one victim lost their life at the scene. A twenty-seven year old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

An inquiry into the Manchester terror attack is also underway after being delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Become Educated, Equipped and Empowered to Stop the Bleed!

Attacks like this are unfortunately becoming more common, not just in the UK but also here in the US. From stabbings to mass shootings, and even large scale terror attacks, it’s situations like these that we never imagine ourselves to be involved in. It is important, now more than ever, that we educate ourselves in the best way to respond to these disasters and become educated and equipped to deal with the injuries that can be sustained as a result, and bring preparedness plans to the forefront of our minds.

Due to the frequency of these attacks, it is now becoming apparent that Bleeding Control kits should be made readily available, not only to emergency services but also at the public’s disposal.

TyTek Medical’s Response during National Preparedness Month

Here at TyTek Medical, our emergency preparedness experts recommend that our range of bleeding control products should be a necessity when it comes to putting together a disaster supplies kit. A trauma victim can bleed to death within five minutes of sustaining a life threatening injury, such as a stab wound or gunshot wound, so it is vital that we know how to react to these situations so we can preserve lives before emergency services arrive at the scene.

During the month of September in support of National Preparedness Month, we are offering 10% off our range of Bleeding Control products. Find out more about our range here.
